Crash, bang, wallop.
Well, some crazy guy in the main plaza (Arequipa, Peru) just filmed me and Tom on his video camera REALLY OBVIOUSLY. When we noticed (as he was right in front of us) he just nodded and walked away, the mentalist. This really reminded me of living in Taiwan and having my photo taken a lot by strangers because I was a foreigner. One time in particular I was on the beach in Kenting lying in my bikini sunbathing (normal behaviour for me but not normal behaviour for the shade loving Taiwanese). Anyway, I was lying there sunbathing and out of nowhere a man put his baby right on my beach towel, right next to me and took a photo. The baby was screaming obviously because she was being put next to this crazy sun loving foreigner but he just kept on snapping. That was one really weird experience.

Aww I just read on twitter that Madeleine McCann had been found. I thought this can’t be true, no way. I Googled it and there are a lot of news stories from about an hour ago reporting a sighting of her in North India. But the McCann’s have announced it’s not Madeleine. Such a shame, that story is heartbreaking. I do genuinely believe she is alive somewhere, but where, who knows and will she ever be found? I hope so.

Today I’m really craving English food. This is mainly down to reading this tasty article that the Lonely Planet posted on twitter…
http://www.lonelyplanet.com/england/travel-tips-and-articles/76752?affil=twit
What a great article. British food is the best. I really can’t stand people who still go on about Britain producing bad food……….SO OUTDATED AND WRONG! It annoys me even more when I visit countries that supposedly have amazing food and it’s really not that great.
Great British Food! Great British Food!
Oooooh cheese, pies, FUDGE, salmon, BEEF….endless tasty goodies.
In particular right now I’d like a plate of cheese and then for dinner (“tea”…that’s the Northern way of putting it) later I’d like Lancashire hot pot. THANKS.

Goodbye, catch you tomorrow on day 93 BAH.
Check out the updated “My Travels… Asia” section here (now including more pictures from Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand & the Philippines).
Check out my last blog post “95 Days Remaining…” here.
Already had the idea before I read this update but I think when you get back you and Lal should go into a catering business that serves up foods of the world to wedding and business. Thai night, Peruvian night and maybe even Taiwanese night!! Keep up the good work!
Omg can you fund that idea please??! I’m in! We did talk about trying to set up a Daily Deli style place in England, would it work? Hmmm I think I might set up a donation page. 🙂
a chippy down south, the first to do gravy!!!!! oh and meat and potato pies and puddings the savoury variety!!
All sounds delicious!!!!
