89 Days Remaining…Reminiscing

Peru – Machu Picchu – It is as amazing as everyone says!

89 89 89 89 89 89 DAYS!!!

Isn’t reminiscing the best??

Today I’ve been reminiscing about the South American trip so far. I’m trying to decide which experiences have been the best so far…hmm…. very tricky, I’ve seen a lot, eaten a lot and done a lot.

In at number one I would definitely have to say the whole Machu Picchu experience (predictable?!). From waking up at 3.30am to race up the mountain for Wayna Picchu tickets, to wandering around the endless ruins, to climbing Wayna Picchu and picnic-ing at the top. ALL GREAT. Lots of gossebumps and pinch me moments felt throughout the whole day.

Following behind would be white water rafting in Tena, Ecuador. A full on day of adrenaline rushing FUN. I’d never done it before so I didn’t know what to expect. The company I did it with, River People, were fantastic. The lunch they provided AND carried all day on the raft was amazing (I’m easily won over by food). All in all just a really happy memory.

Next up I’d have to say riding around the sand dunes in the crazy sand buggy in Huaccachina, Peru. Again this was a full on adrenaline rush…..hmm my top experiences are following a slight pattern. I had always, always, ALWAYS wanted to go to a desert and see rolling sand dunes which I was able to do in Huaccachina. BUT the great thing about the sand buggy was that I was able to roll around too…….major butterflies!

Peru – Huacachina – AWESOME!

That’s my top three SO FAR. Gaahhh I think but….oh there have been so many wonderful experiences and still more to come.

Over and out.
